How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Appointments must be made in person or over the phone at Spilt Milk Tattoo. A $100 cash or credit card deposit is required to reserve your appointment. Your deposit is applied toward the cost of your tattoo at your appointment.

Please note: All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your appointment time and covers the artist's scheduling and preparation.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. When you leave your deposit, we'll do our best to arrange a consultation with your artist the same day.

If your artist isn't available, we'll schedule a consultation for a later date. Before your consultation, you're welcome to email your the shop your ideas, inspiration, and reference photos.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes! We always welcome walk-in clients whenever our artists have availability. Walk-ins are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Calling ahead does not reserve a walk-in spot, so availability may change if another client arrives first.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

You must be 18 years or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID before receiving a tattoo. We do not tattoo minors.

I'm visiting from out of town. Can I book an appointment?

Yes. We work with many out-of-town clients. We'll communicate with you by email whenever possible, and deposits can be paid securely over the phone with a credit card.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

For the best experience, we recommend that you:

  • Eat a good meal before your appointment.

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

  • Bring your valid photo ID.

If you have any medical concerns or questions before your appointment, please contact the shop in advance.

How should I care for my new tattoo?

Keep your tattoo clean, moisturized, and protected while it heals. Follow your artist’s aftercare instructions, avoid soaking or exposing it to direct sunlight, and never pick or scratch the healing skin.
